Rhyton (pronounced simillar to Brighton) is an ancient type of a drinking horn, made of precious metal (gold or silver), it's base ornated with the heads of various animals and birds. Rhytons were used during ceremonies and celebrations by the ancient Trojans, Thracians, Persians, and Greeks to symbolize status, wealth, health and good fortune.
